All the shyt my parents had to do for my sisters kids, shyt they prolly happy.

I'm 36 and probably not going to have kids.

No disrespect to my nieces and nephews because I love them, but I'm the one who took care of both parents when they got sick.

In fact, some of the responsibilities my mother took on as a grandparent were handed to me when she was ill.

No other siblings.

I don't give a fukk about the lack of feelings they may have had about me not having kids when they know I did shyt for them above and beyond all my siblings combined.

In a way I'm kinda sad how I let my parents down in that respect. My mother and father will never know what it's like to have a grandchild or even a daughter-in-law or see their son with a family of his own. They have to live every day knowing their line ends with me. I really wish they had another child who could have gave them those things but I'm not capable of it and I'm all they decided to have.

I know society looks down on me for my choices and that doesn't bother me but what does is that my parents never really got what they deserved. Not that I want to give it to them but they still should have got to experience it. Being a grandparent is one of life's great joys for the elderly and they were robbed of it.
40 is the new 35, the time is still there

This is your life, live it the way you desire.

Giving your parents grandkids is a wrong reason to have kids.:mjtf:

Reality is, no one cares if you have kids or not. Everyone is focused on themselves.

Breh get you a counselor and go work on yourself.

This isn’t the place for that “dear diary” stuff most people either won’t understand or won’t care.

Not to minimize your feelings on this matter because most people want to leave a legacy and a piece of them here after they are gone, but you have so much more to offer not only your parents but to yourself than simply just having kids and being married. Go enjoy the world, learn some new hobbies, do volunteer work, find a group of people that you can talk to, etc.

If you work on you and you’ll eventually find your way and that other stuff will work itself out on its own.
