Nah, bro. I do. Character matters, but a good character is a baseline requirement for a relationship. Other aspects include sex, finances, and overall intellect. A chick can be nice as a sunny day but if she's dumb as rocks, unskilled, and uneducated she's no good.

I agree except that I don't believe the lack of a college education makes for a dummy. And college doesn't necessarily build intelligence.

What I got from college was nothin' more than trainin' for a job. Without a sound understandin' of money & self, that's all it will be. The intelligence I look for in women is THAT understandin'. Only a few college majors can help with that. Those who have it typically get it from parents, mentors or self study.

And skills can be obtained in many places outside of college.

I'd take a truely intelligent woman with skills over one that's simply college educated everyday of the week.

I'm in DC. Many "educated" women here. Especially lawyers. Some appear to be slolid on the surface. But hang with 'em a few times & you learn their only real interest & aspiration is to climb the ranks of their field.

But if a woman's sole interest is her job, she's not my type. We won't have anything in common. I can't learn from her. She's unwillin' to learn from me.

Edit: And I admire havin' knowledge of the law. I just never came up on a lawyer searchin' for knowledge outside of their field.

Exactly. Besides, lets not act like there arent more people out there who are succesful cuz they cut corners, knew/are related to the right people, or simply caught lightning in a bottle than there are people who actually worked for their status. Its a dirty game.
