Like that was life. I love LA. but you could catch a nikka on the block that was nice. Killa Sin lived around thew corner. I love LA though. It's vibrant.

Detroit & Chicago are on my list.

Cypress Hill is better than Capital Punishment.

i thought they were from Philly off 'the phunky feel one'. the first Cypress record is one of the best rap albums of all time.

Musically, of course. B-Real can rap and he makes good musi, great albums, but even if you injected HGH into his vocal chords he could never rap like Pun.

Can't help but think about how many potential GOAT rappers there are that just never made it due to the hood, record execs, etc.

i really don't know the answer to this. pun is respected but i honestly could never get a gauge of how much people felt him. Yeah Baby is one of my fav' albums ever tho....but i'm not a Big Pun fan. that album just happened to come out when I was in 8th grade and It's So Hard was poppin' on the radio. Other than a few singles he released previously, I never was into him like that. IMO his lyrical skill is GOAT status tho.

Pun was a joke. If you ever saw him live or even seen clips of him recording, he couldn't go 2 bars without gargling on saliva or coming up for air. All that rapid fire fast rapping was cool on wax, but he must have been an engineers nightmare, having to blend 16 separate lines together PER VERSE.

Pun is just another example of how dying makes people pretend you are waaaay better than you were. In reality, Fat Joe >>> Big Pun :upsetfavre:
