I’m much more of a reading/writing/philosophy kind of guy. But my wife has recently gone back to school and I’ve been relearning math alongside her. I find it very droll, but then I look at physics and the latest research behind quantum computers and I find it amazing.

Get them both and revisit the contract. Or ask someone who knows how to read a contract. Too many times people have asked me about a contract AFTER they've signed it. Makes absolutely no sense.

Where a lot of people fukk up at is that the person who knows how to read the contract doesn't necessarily understand the mathematics portion of it as well. It's why you get more than one person to look and read over the contract and don't fall for the rushing tactics that people use.

I think he means like being good at Calculus level type math, where wondering why everyone is dropping out of the engineering program but it's easy to you.
Yeah, he has to be talking about this. Cuz I can add and subtract quick as fukk. So many ppl I know think Im some kinda genius just because I can add, subtract, multiply and divide basic figures kinda fast in my head. Usually in relation to money. But that real engineering type math, yeah. Even reading a ruler or tape measure makes me upset

Don't stop at Math

Education is key in every arena.

That's what learning IS. Knowing how things work and how to do stuff.

I am compelled to study whatever I am curious about so I seriously don't understand living with unanswered questions.

Look it up. Read a book about it if need be

True but most people don't try hard enough and default themselves to say

"Hurr durrr omg I suck at math I hate it"

They tell you EXACTLY how to do a problem, and give you the formula. How hard is it to follow directions nikka?

To be honest, the best math teacher I had was a guy in college. I had a finite mathematics course and he made it so easy to understand. Before that it was always some foreign person I could barely understand.

Why'd you assume I was talking about Calculus? Outside of Business Calculus, there isn't really anything in Calculus applied to everyday life

Percentages, Ratios, Fractions, Decimals, Statistics, Probability, Geometry, Trigonometry, Algebra, Compounding, Interest Rates, Amortization, Tax calculations, etc, are all vital things to learn in life. Without it, you'll be paying out the ass for the rest of your life for other people to interpret shyt for you

Further proves my earlier point

It's so hard to find math teachers in America because everyone here is on some

"Hurr durrr it's so hard omg I hate math"

BS. So we gotta important nikkas from foreign countries because they can follow directions, have discipline and do it, not necessarily bc they are smarter than us.
