Those who aren't afraid to be themselves.
Being raised in the bricks(newark) for 10+years and young, you never realize you're in the ghetto until you come of age and see things for what they are. I was a young and gullible and everything i saw on tv, i thought mirrored my life:snoop: I was all jolly and happy all the time and i remember at one point in my complex, A homeless man was digging in the garbage and my dumbass walked up and asked ''Why are you doing that Mr? Do you need a friend?'':mjlol: Luckily before he reacted , my friends screamed at me and made me come over and told me not to speak to him and stay away:lolbron: Anyway, I was 11 and lived in central ward by west side park and on a Saturday my parents made me go out and get food from the chicken shack,(i did this alot and they made sure it was either in the morning or atleast when the sun was out) this particular day it was cold out and my dad had recently bought a steep tech northface, real expensive, (The shyt was wack to me, damn thing was a hassle to put on, all those straps and buckles and shyt :martin:) im coming home and as i walk my way back, in my peripheral there's these dread head older nikkas, i didn't pay them no mind, i keep walking and out of no where this mophead nikka grabs me by my collar aggressively and mean mugged me on some :birdman: and all i could too was let out a weak ass gasp ''ahhhh!'':sadbron: that nikka does the :childplease: then the :bryan:and lets me go.... breh, i never felt so humiliated in my life (thankfully i was returning home) I come home and i dropped our food and i screamed ''I aint never wearing this no more!'' and my dad gets pissed and gets all in my face screaming whats wrong with hit and on the verge of hitting me , then tears burst out and i scream about what happened( while crying,... this shyt was like a movie:heh:) Parents console me and my mom had to hold my pops back from going out what not and from that point i couldn't wear my steeptech out by myself, only with them.:deadmanny::deadmanny::deadmanny:
I still went out (without the coat of course:pachaha:) but i never saw em again
You guys got any stories??
