lol when i was growing up one of my best friends from kindergarden was named tyron. We swiched schools in first grade and he was on a bad path ever since. My mom would always be telling me about the bad shyt tyrone was getting into. And id always indirectly compare myself to Tyrone anytime my mom would bytch at me for something. lol

Its actually originally an Irish name. You would commonly find white irish people in the 1800s name Tyrone.

It startet gettin popular in the black community by the 1920s. After the 1960s its popularity decreased drastically...and by the 80s it was synonymous with stereotypical black name.
