y'all gotta stop with this. I can only speak for myself but saying a woman with a cross bow can defeat the predator, or Jennifer Lopez taking taebo is whipping dudes, etc etc is going too far. They're separation in genders for a reason. The same people all enraged when that treh was killing women's swimming.
Riddle me this.
Danny Glover fires a .38 slug at a predator and scores a hit, successfully killing the beast. This is okay.
A young woman fires a crossbow at a predator and scores a hit, successfully killing the beast. This is... not... okay? Are women unable to fire crossbows?
He was "The Shape" according to Carpenter. The Boogeyman. It's my personal theory that the further into Halloween night he went in the first two films, the less of a man he was and the more of a force of nature he became. I think the human part of Michael began decaying the night he murdered Judith at six years old and it slowly eroded up until his escape 15 years later when all that was left at that point was the indestructible evil Dr. Loomis was obsessed over.
But how realistic is that?

Breh, NONE of the Predator movies are "realistic". In the previous one a skinny-ass Japanese breh went up against one with nothing but a sword, you think THAT's okay but a crossbow ain't?
Either you believe Predator is an honorable hunter who nerfs himself to match the level of his competition....or you just plain suspend disbelief. There is no where were, "A middle-aged cop with a pistol is good enough to take down advanced alien technology 100s of years beyond human imagination on a super-predator being" but a female Indian warrior with a crossbow is suddenly crossing the line.
Think of it this way. If you drop Danny Glover and his pistol into the middle of the American wilderness in 1700, is ol girl taking him out or not? She shoots him before he even knows she's there.
Bow and arrows were fine when Hawkeye was using them to defeat alien hordes rapid-fire.

He does, obviously. Both of them are best suited to their own environment.
But honestly her advantages over the Predator in her environment are probably greater than Danny's in his. She's gonna know every inch of her territory intimately in a way the Predator doesn't. Whereas Danny was just fighting the Predator in random buildings he'd never been in and shyt and even the Predator's own ship, so the only advantage he really had was his wits.
