all of my married friends are some of the most tormented and miserable people i know. no matter where i go in the world the married men give me this look... like a mixture of hatred envy sadness and longing. thought it was some gay shyt at first, until one of my married homies had a meltdown about how terrible married life is and how good i have it, shyt tore my soul apart seeing my boy like that, when he was having his meltdown he gave me the same look and everything was clear. ive never met a happily married man. not once.

Both has perks but with being married...it looks good to society and a wife and kids gives u a purpose.

Being single is better as far as having the ability to do what u wanna do. U get to go where u want to without answering to folks. Also u don't have to worry about a woman spending all ur money and not bringing any financial value to the relationship.

Ya boy sounds like he probably shouldn't have gotten married in the first place. In my opinion if you're unhappy in your marriage within the first 5 years you probably weren't ready when you got married, are you married someone you knew you had no business marrying in the first place. I think the real problem is that people don't take marriage seriously. But when you have shows like Married at First Sight, what do you expect?

I don't know to be honest. I'm single right now and I'm dealing with it. It has it's perks, more free time, more relaxing days, etc. But my parents have been married for 32 years and I really really want something like that. So I'll go with marriage.

Married men are like the Lions in the circus. They look defeated. They know they should be smashing different lionesses, eating good, chilling in the Sahara carefree watching the sunset.

Instead he has this ringmaster(wife) telling him when and where to be at all times. Nagging him to the point where he does what ever she says so she'll STFU for a little while. Never think women don't run marriages. Nagging will make to strongest men docile.

Dude ain't even a Lion anymore. Haven't had a fresh kill in years. :to:

I've had a few friends like this, they've been married and now are divorced. Co-worker has been married 10 years and has 3 kids, constantly hits me with the "I envy you cause you are single and can do what you want". Even when I was with my last gf he was like "don't ever get married". I'm just like :jbhmm:

This right here is it...........

It depends on the person and whom they choose as a partner.

For me it's married.

I could see where if I had the wrong partner I would say single was better too.

I would agree with the bolded, hopefully your partner can stick with you through thick and thin, I've seen marriages fall apart over cheating, finances, and fights. I've never been married so I can speak on that life, single has its perks and so does being in a relationship.
