First, what do you do for a living?
What is your race?
Why do you want kids?

:gucci:

what does that have to do with anything ? all living things basically genetically programmed to want to reproduce. you don't even have "want" kids to end up having them. Life finds a way.

Dude, just answer the questions. if you feel confident that you’re right, answer the questions. They’re easy.

i answered by telling you they are not relevant to the millions of years of evolution that pushes all living things to reproduce. so unless you can tell me why it matters then my answer stands. :manny:

I rest my case. You’re a coward. Yapping off at the mouth and when confronted u run and hide. This is just a message board. Let this be a lesson for you. Don’t argue with anyone unless you’re willing to defend your opinions. If you feel unsure of urself, learn to shut the fucck up and leave the debate to others.

I don't have children and am financially independent. Being able to buy the suit I want when I want, watch what I want on TV, eat out when I want, aren't perks I give a fukk about. It is hollow.

Easy to say this when that is all you have ever known.
I'm almost certain if you had kids and these luxuries were taken from you, you would give more of a fukk about these things :wow:

Human's have cognitive thinking which separates us from other species on this planet.
We don't just work off of pure animal instinct, therefore you have a section of people who willing choose not to have kids:manny:

I disagree.

The problem with this thread and your post is the assumption that everyone happiness derives from the same place.

I don't have children and am financially independent. Being able to buy the suit I want when I want, watch what I want on TV, eat out when I want, aren't perks I give a fukk about. It is hollow.

The times when I have been happiest in recent years is when I have been away with my family that includes neices, nephews and younger cousins.

It's all part of the infantilization of modern people. Endless choices and no commitments. That's the ideal life.... from a child's perspective.

No concept of being of service to others or a higher cause. No commitment to a greater common good.

Dudes in this thread are literally celebrating what previous generations would've viewed as a cursed life: having no progeny.

All these life experiences and wealth that's accumulated and no one to share it with and pass it down to. No sense of commitment to previous generations (carrying on their legacy and name) or to future generations (passing on and building upon what we received).

And these are the same dudes crying about "generational wealth" in other threads and the sad predicament of the black community. :francis:

What type of community do you end up with, if those who have resources and potential refuse to procreate and take on responsibility while the dysfunctional ones procreate freely?

It's not the chat code

You just a selfish narcissist.
I'll be that.

It's enough humans in this world.

I've had a friend pressuring me to get married and have kids for the last 2 days. This same guy works 2 full time jobs while wife stays at home and then on the weekend he has to care for his kid while she goes to school. My man doesn't even get a packed lunch during the week. He's eating dry ass chicken nuggets from McDonald for dinner and having McDonald for breakfast. Carrying his whole household on his shoulders on the promise that it will be worth it in the end. So yes let me be a selfish narcissist because I can't be that guy. I'll never for the life of me understand why people get so mad that others don't want that life.

100% commitment phobe. Why is it juvenile? I'd rather be this than a dead beat dad cuz I don't stick around. Let us be selfish without hurting anyone. I know if I had kids and it didn't work out I'd be ghost. I'm that guy and old enough to know myself.

It's your choice breh. But ideally you should work on your problem.

Yes, not bringing children into the world when you know you would be a terrible father is commendable and serves the community by preventing potential harm. But raising good children with good values and a healthy sense of self would be superior in the long term. That's just facts.

I say this as an independent man with no children for the exact same reasons as you. I wouldn't want to put children into the world right now because I don't think I would be a great father due to my current lifestyle and career focus. But it's definitely part of my plans.

What problem? :skip:

I may not have kids but I have dependents. I have so much family with family they can't take care of. Money flies out my pocket for medical bills, and all other expenses. For me to have a family I need to cut everyone off and take care of mines only. So either way I'd be selfish.
