It's all part of the infantilization of modern people. Endless choices and no commitments. That's the ideal life.... from a child's perspective.
No concept of being of service to others or a higher cause. No commitment to a greater common good.
Dudes in this thread are literally celebrating what previous generations would've viewed as a cursed life: having no progeny.
All these life experiences and wealth that's accumulated and no one to share it with and pass it down to. No sense of commitment to previous generations (carrying on their legacy and name) or to future generations (passing on and building upon what we received).
And these are the same dudes crying about "generational wealth" in other threads and the sad predicament of the black community.
What type of community do you end up with, if those who have resources and potential refuse to procreate and take on responsibility while the dysfunctional ones procreate freely?
