Kyrie Irving isn't leading anything. I tried to tell you this shyt is Al Horford and Brad Stevens.

Y'all nikkas don't listen!

When Boston run into a team that heart and defense can't overcome, I'm going to tag you and ask you do you think Kyrie's scoring would have been useful?

Multiple Boston players have remarked on Kyrie's leadership this year, and since that doesn't go with your narrative, you'll find a way to dismiss it.

Beyond that, tho'. Who gives a fukk? Everybody ain't a great leader, but that don't mean that have no value. That nikka is an offensive wizard, and at some point, they're going to need that nikka's ability to score the ball.

A system will only take you so far without the firepower.

ben simmons had all the year to work on his shot while coming back from the injury but literally no progress was made. We could say he should work on his shot but welll this summer he won't be again

He gets no excuses. Even a guy like Nerlens Noel improved his shot from 52 ft% in college to 60 ft% after his season off and now shooting 75 ft% this season. You either have it or you don't.

Tatum has no where near the pressure those other 2 have. Tatum is playing carefeee basketball within the system and banking off a lot of hustle plays. Simmons and Embiid are being put in postitions where they just have to create

Tatum in the first round didn’t look like this. As a rookie, the playoff atmosphere was overwhelming. He admitted this but instead of folding up under the pressure, Tatum is the key reason for this 3-0 lead. It’s no such thing as carefree basketball in the playoffs, or better yet that’s how you end up choking in a series.

This is why I hate talking to sports fans. The absolute bias behind it. Ben went to LSU, so you’re going to ride or die for him. You don’t see his flaws, huh? It’s hate when people call him out, right? You don’t fathom a kid scoring 10 points to one single point in 31 minutes different? Incredible loyalty behind the player who didn’t even lead you to the NCAA tourney that year. You know what my gripe is, covering this kid all these years? He couldn’t shoot at Montverde, couldn’t shoot at LSU, didn’t work on his shot during his original rookie year, and still can’t shoot now. He was 0% from 3. Stop fukking calling him LeBron.

baby, that was the old me
Lacking the ability to consistently drive & finish is going to shorten his career going forward if he doesn’t figure it out. :francis:

I’ve never seen a nba player of his size unable to finish with the left hand. It’s like Simmons just refuses to use it no matter how awkward the angle is. And when you don’t have the ability to even hit the 15 ft jumper... that’s tough.

That’s the type of defiency that will give your career a Tyreke Evans-like decline, because defenses will adjust accordingly if you don’t work on your game. He may fix it if he works relentlessly or that arrogance just may be his downfall . :yeshrug:

Well,I told yall before this series started
Philadelphia has the two best players. But the Celtics have a collection of players that are very good on both sides of the ball.Rozier,Horford,Tatum,Brown,Smart and Morris are all capable of scoring 14-24 points, and 5 of the 6 are very good defenders...Brad Stevens will exploit Simmons' weakness of not being able to shoot the basketball.

Can yall put some positive Respeck(Reputation) on my name?

I don’t care how well he passes, you can’t have someone like Simmons as a full time point guard. Same with Lebron. It’s one thing to be able to create, it’s another to be able to lead, control pace, feed hot hands and be a general on the floor.

Magic was able to do all of that from year 1.

Simmons isn’t a true point guard and he never will be. On top of the fact he can’t shoot so you don’t even have to guard him.

Same thing I’m saying. Nikkas sonused to lebron and teams needing him, that they forget a team can still be good without their best player, but come finals time(assuming this team beats the Cavs which they probably won’t but just in case) they would need Kyrie and Haywood on the floor. To say otherwise would be stupid considering
We know who Steph’s true challenger is
