Simmons was always overrated, but at least he had confidence and wasn’t afraid to take it to the basket. Defensively he was awesome. But he is a bust. You can’t fall off as bad as he did and say he’s anything but a bust.

Simmons is absolutely unplayable, it’s not like he took a slight dip in production and performance but was still a decent player, you could then say that he is a disappointment. He’s a liability, he’s scared to shoot, he’s scared to get fouled because he’d have to shoot free throws. He clogs up the lane because he camps out in the dunkers spot, alongside your big. His ball handling is predictable because there’s no threat of him pulling up or driving to the basket, he 99% of the time drives to pass. Dude has no confidence anymore. He doesn’t like basketball only the lifestyle it affords him.

At one point the potential was there so his comments weren’t farfetched or outrageous.Cant believe they was hyping up this bum Simmons
Simmons just never bothered to improve on his game and the back injuries have taken away the things he actually used to be good at.
Even now, he could still buy himself more time in the league if he actually tried to shoot.

Definitely not a bust and actually a really good haul for a 1st pick. A bust is like Anthony Bennett, Markelle Fultz, etc Simmons just disappointed a lot of people (myself included)
