He checked OUT after the back injury.

He lost a lot of his athleticism after the surgeries.

Then it became about SCAMMING The NBA.

The Ben Simmons BEFORE the back injury (PRE-2020) was a different player. He actually played with aggression.
I always give players grace with back injuries. I'm sure hooping ain't Simmons priority anymore but he still gave the Clippers good mins this year. You just can't play him late in games cause he can't shoot FTs.

If the Knicks bring him in on a vet min as one of the last guys off their bench, it'd be a good deal

Not a bust but a disappointment

You would think a basketball player who is scared to look at the rim or shoot 3’s would develop some sort of mid range jumper to keep the defense honest and avoid playing 4 on 5. Everyone in the NBA knows what he’s going to do when he has the ball offensively. He’s so embarrassed of shooting he would just rather not do it and risk his NBA career and chance to make more money in doing so. Couldn’t be me

More important that doesn’t get talked about enough is Ben never loved basketball. That’s really what it comes down to with him and it’s very obvious at this point

Who is rewriting history, I'm saying after the fact, it would've probably worked out better if he could be a lower rated player :dahell:

How can a player who was regarded as the “heir to Lebron” be a second round pick?:what:

He isn't Greg Oden though he fell apart as a player when he was in Philly and his coach was like I don't know if he can be a starting point guard on a championship roster. He's a bust that had a flash of brilliance at the beginning of his career.

He is the very definition of bust
He never lived up to the hype and he spent more time injured than he did contributing. And when he did contribute he came up short in the big moments.
He is useless can’t be relied on and soft as drug store cotton.
To me a bust is someone who never lived up to their potential and when include he has barely play the past five years he was a huge failure

I kind see where you’re coming from that he didn’t live up to his potential but Ben does have accolades that a lot of legitimate busts never even reached which is why I said he more of a disappointment than a bust
