I understand the sentiment of this, but I really don't think people should worry. They know what got them this far. I fukked up and listened to God Don't Make Mistakes and it's a little bit more gritty than King to a God, so for people that didn't like what he did on there, just know the next one is 1/2 to 2/3rds produced by Daringer and Alchemist. The thing I always respected about Griselda was the in-house approach. That's what helped them kill shyt and grow their following. Sticking to keeping everything in the family and letting people come to them. That gritty sound and bringing back that traditional essence, for a new generation. I kinda feel like branching out might kill their momentum. They're better off without that.
Benny's obviously trying his hand at expanding with Hit-Boy and Harry Fraud (Plugs I Met 2), but on Tana Talk 4 there will be plenty of Daringer and Alchemist.
They release so much that they can afford to step out and try new production here and there. Plus, aside from Tana Talk 3 and Plugs, Benny has always had a taste in more of this style production. On Friend of Ours and My 1st Brick, and then on Butcher on Steroids he freestyled over old Beans and Jay beats. Benny's always had the Rocafella sound in his bag a little bit.
Boldy has another Alchemist project dropping soon too, and one with Harry Fraud. And I think he has ones with Harry Fraud and then Daringer coming out.
