The thing I always respected about Griselda was the in-house approach. That's what helped them kill shyt and grow their following. Sticking to keeping everything in the family and letting people come to them. That gritty sound and bringing back that traditional essence, for a new generation. I kinda feel like branching out might kill their momentum. They're better off without that.
I understand the sentiment of this, but I really don't think people should worry. They know what got them this far. I fukked up and listened to God Don't Make Mistakes and it's a little bit more gritty than King to a God, so for people that didn't like what he did on there, just know the next one is 1/2 to 2/3rds produced by Daringer and Alchemist.

Benny's obviously trying his hand at expanding with Hit-Boy and Harry Fraud (Plugs I Met 2), but on Tana Talk 4 there will be plenty of Daringer and Alchemist.

They release so much that they can afford to step out and try new production here and there. Plus, aside from Tana Talk 3 and Plugs, Benny has always had a taste in more of this style production. On Friend of Ours and My 1st Brick, and then on Butcher on Steroids he freestyled over old Beans and Jay beats. Benny's always had the Rocafella sound in his bag a little bit.

Boldy has another Alchemist project dropping soon too, and one with Harry Fraud. And I think he has ones with Harry Fraud and then Daringer coming out.

Even when they go to radio stations to freestyle Con would go off and a few times Benny would stumble.

Both these nikkas dropped 2 of the best projects this year though. And I don't understand nikkas trying to act like Con isn't just as dope. What happens if GDMM is better than this?
I'm almost positive I'll like GDMM more than KTAG. I have to keep from listening to shytty livestreams of it. Conway got mad drunk and played pretty much the entire album on Youtube. His engineer was like "This is crazy we're gonna have to answer so many angry emails tomorrow." Conway was like "I don't give a fukk about those emails."

It sounds a lot like King to a God but there's songs on there that make The Cow sound like Sesame Street. I can't wait for that to drop. If KTAG didn't convince people he can make an album, then GDMM definitely will. There's one joint with Paak and TI, a joint with Ross and Wayne, and another with Benny and West, but besides that it's all solo.

I skimmed some of the joints on there via YouTube and yeah I can’t wait.

Yo...why do nikkas want hiphop to be competitive but then start crying when you actually start comparing artists and projects? :gucci:
nikkas is shytting and pinning nikkas against eachother in the same crew. It’s cool to like someone better than the other but to flat lie on an artists material cause u a fan of another is wild crazy to me.

It's kinda crazy but at the same time I think it's a good sign because it means it's a dope crew and they have engaged fans.

I haven't seen as much debate about who is better since Meth and Red and Styles and Jadakiss. So I think it's a good sign when the 2 emcees of a crew can bring about debate like that.

Usually there's a solid A player and B player. As far as emcees, Prodigy was the Jordan to Havoc's Pippen. Same goes for Dre/Big Boi, Phonte/Pooh, Tip/Phife, Push/Malice, Sean P/Rock, Mos/Kweli, Elzhi/T3, Evidence/Rakka, etc.

edit :whoa: Rock was better than Ruck early on, but after Ruck became the Sean Price we all know and love, it flipped.

Malice was better than Pusha to me as well. But I see what u sayin. My issue ain’t the comparisons it’s the disrespect that comes with it. nikkas don’t disrespect Kiss to big up Styles and vice versa.
