I'm not gonna try to push the album on you fellas but I also thought the beats were more on the light side until I listened in the car. If ya'll have only listened in headphones, just give it one quick car test.

And if I ain't got a car? :mjcry:

But I think it's a really really really solid tape. Just that, I was listening to Tana Talk 3 before this..will you agree the production on there is better?

A couple critiques from a big fan, I say this stuff not to be a hater or something just some thoughts

Benny had been playing with some different flows lately, on records like 5 to 50, cruiser weight coke, etc. where did that go? I feel like he attacked a lot of these songs straight on, which isn’t a bad thing. Just a little less varied then I know he’s capable of. Anyone see that sway freestyle where he took a break between crazy ass bars? I’d like to see him attack things from more angles, switch up mid song more, etc

hit boy doing his best 03 roc impression, very just blaze/bink type of stuff. I fukk with it. BUT he’s gotta jazz it up a little imo. These tracks are very straightforward. It feels like they don’t really give a lot of room for exploration of that makes sense. It’s too quantized. The drums are so clean.

I’d love to hear some stuff that’s a little looser and natural.

i fukk with the album, it’s a solid 8/10 to me. It’ll make my personal year end list for sure. Big fan, just some observations

Gave it a full run 1 but still need to give it more time like any album. RIGHT NOW Conways KTAG is still better BUT like I said more time is needed. I'm definitely enjoying Burden of Proof:blessed:

This literally graded out the exact same to Conway's shyt - Both spectacular - If I had to choose - I'd take Conway, but I'm not standing on the ledge on that.

That’s crazy they came to the same score. They’re both 4+ mic albums to me. For me it’s just gonna depend on mood. If it’s colder outside or I’m in the mood for something with grittier production and edgier bars then I’d lean Conway’s album. If it’s warmer outside or I want some slick hustler talk with smooth production I’m leaning to Benny’s album.

:mjcry: At the car situation. Soon breh.

I mean I definitely prefer the Tana Talk 3/Plugs style production more than not. I also don’t love Daringer but I think Tana 3 is his best bag so far, and I think Tana 3 and Lulu are Alc’s best bags on a Griselda project (I’m not counting Tea in China.)

If I’m in a nostalgic mood though or if it’s spring/summer I might prefer the Burden production. I was coming of age in the heyday of Jay and Rocafella, so Burden is taking me back to great times on my life.

I’m a weird cat to ask breh. A lot of what music I prefer is based on mood, time of year, weather, and whether it’s day or night outside. :heh:

edit: Tana’s a perfect fall/winter album. Burden’s a perfect spring/summer album. Both are dope at night too.
