I like it listened to it twice, feels like something missing but can't put my finger on it and got no complaints. Ironically 2020 been a great year for hip-hop, might eclipse 2018 for me
The beats on benny's album from hit boy sound better than nas album but hit boy beats are for a certain type of rapper. Benny carried hit boy's beats similar to how dmx carried swizz beat on fomfbomb.
But overall it's a good record. They need to stick with daringer, alchemist and the producers they have on their mixtapes for the beats. Basically those street beats. Griselda is too raw for those clean beats. They got talent.

That's the crazy part. Everyone always wants creativity and newness but this guy went out of his way to sound like a reasonable doubt recreation and is getting praised for it.

salute to Hit Boy cause with this & King's Disease I thought he found a way to keep the artist's integrity while expanding their sound. While I haven't been checking for Benny for years (only started after Plugs) but been listening to Griselda heavy these past couple of months, & this don't sound like their usual sound and for a reason.
They wanted something for those unaware to be put on to Benny (time will tell if it works) but for those who fukk wit the gritty NY sound like me, this 1 caught you off guard, but Benny ain't singing in auto-tune, he still spittin & talking that shyt he always does. This was very good & it allows Benny to go in between that Griselda sound and experiment with new shyt like Conway did with FKTAG.

sidenote - I realized I've become completely for drumless loops when I got kinda mad when they dropped on War Paint
