CNN can't keep running news like this and then be mad when someone utters "fake news" to them.
Clickbait headline. :mjlol:

That being said, it hits on a larger issue I have. Largely how focused the media is in attributing success or failure to someone else and not the person running and their policy.

this is why CNN is so full of shyt. Even that interview she just had with Cuomo is bullshyt because of the questions he was asking

The people on CNN are paid to be disingenuous. That's why they're still touting that "how do we pay for it?" nonsense whenever she's on the show
The same way Fox News "scientists" are paid to be liars by the oil and gas lobby

Cuomo could easily do his own research about single-payer healthcare and do a segment on how much money it saves, but he would get fired. So he decides to talk about "sticker price shock", conveniently leaving out the fact that it saves trillions of dollars

Make no mistake, CNN is a network dedicated to killing progressive ideas. They NEED Alexandria to fail. The longer the spotlight is on her, the more people will understand that what she is asking for is completely reasonable, and her demands are diametrically opposed to the centrists on CNN and MSNBC

Each and every "liberal" host on CNN benefits from Trump's tax plan and they reap the rewards of giving him wall-to-wall coverage

Trump won Michigan man so no it's not super liberal state. But yes, her district probably is. I believe she is running unopposed in the general.

It has nothing to do with being liberal. But everything to do with those states generating much, much more money. So on a strictly state level, yes you're right. On a federal level, it can work.

After years of republicans purposefully and explicitly shifting the Overton window, corporate “Democrats” are insisting “keep it in the middle!”

Well the right wing has swung so far right they’re fascist white supremacists, so keeping it in the middle means we would be further right than ever before. It’s almost like democrats are secretly totally okay with the GOP running things because they don’t actually support social progress, and are in politics for power, control, and the benefits of lobbyists.

Which would explain why when a demagogue ran for president, they used none of the historic methods used to defeat him, and instead played right into his hand by pretending to be taking “the high ground” while shytting on his lowest common denominator constituency.

The Democrats exposed themselves when they stood alongside Republicans against Obama's progressive agenda and forced him to the center at the cost of losing their majority. That was the moment I changed my party affiliation.

Well Bernie should do the math and stop attacking people whose infrastructure and resources he depends on.
so let me ask you a question.

if you were moving to a new state/city for a new job and you havent had a chance to find a place yet. so you had a friend in that new city that said they would let you stay with him and his family for 2 weeks until you get your new spot.

Now that you're on the inside, you see your friend beating on his wife and kid. Should you not say anything? Should you just sit there and turn your head or act like you didnt just witness what you just saw all for the sake of not rocking the boat and biting the hand thats currently feeding you?

What the actual fukk are you talking about? How often did Republicans and Democrats stand together against Obama? I'm genuinely trying to understand what issues or votes you are referring to. The only thing I can think of are the moderate or righter wing dems, that stood alongside moderate and lefter wing reps, but even then thats like 10-20% of congress at the most.
