First time running as a Republican. And yeah he's not a politician by career choice, therefore making him an outsider.
By nature every politician was a first time politician. We don't just call them outsiders.

Trump has been heavily steeped in politics at the national level for at least the last decade.

May I ask what about his views are considered outsider for conservatives? What about his actual policy is considered out of the norm for conservatives ?

Holding office for the first time is a weak qualifier for an outsider.

Trump sold himself as an outsider, but can you actually point out where he's at odds with American conservatism to a point where his political views and actions since becoming president make him as such?

Don't twist yourself up because you're afraid to criticize a white man. :troll:

Definitely cool to express your opinion on the qualifier. But still it remains. :francis:

Bernie Sanders’ Revolution Needs Black Voters To Win. But Can He Talk To Them?

By the time his campaign aides scrambled to release a detailed criminal justice platform on Aug. 9, Sanders was still struggling. In a September meeting with Campaign Zero, a movement formed out of the Ferguson protests, activists asked Sanders why, in his opinion, there were a disproportionate amount of people of color in jail for nonviolent drug offenses. Sanders, seated across the table, a yellow legal pad at hand, responded with a question of his own, according to two people present: “Aren’t most of the people who sell the drugs African American?” The candidate, whose aides froze in the moment, was quickly rebuffed: The answer, the activists told him, was no. Even confronted with figures and data to the contrary, Sanders appeared to have still struggled to grasp that he had made an error, the two people present said.

In a statement to BuzzFeed News, Bernie Sanders said he "clearly misspoke" during the meeting:

:mjpls:

That's y'all's saviour...
Can't find a single reliable source for this information. Bernie is against privatized prisons and one reason he is, is because of the disproportionate amount of blacks that are arrested for nonviolent drug offenses. The article states "according to two people present..." fall for clickbait fake news brehs

Did you read the article? The man is on record claiming he 'misspoke' but you call it fake news.

In a statement to BuzzFeed News, Bernie Sanders said he "clearly misspoke" during the meeting:

During this extremely important meeting three years ago, where I learned a great deal, we had a very open discussion about the issues of systemic racism and the intersection of race and class. I am grateful to the participants in this meeting for engaging with me. The experiences and perspectives they related were incredibly impactful on me as a person and as a presidential candidate. While I clearly misspoke and had more to learn with regard to the causes of this problem, we all came to the meeting understanding what is absolutely true: the criminal justice system is broken and disproportionately arrests and jails African Americans. I am thankful to the participants for their work and willingness to have the kind of discussions that we need to have in order to move forward as a country. I intend to continue having conversations with activists and experts about how we, as a nation, create the society all of us deserve.

You think they made up that statement as well? :mjpls:

He said that shyt. Been alive 70 years, been in Congress for 30 but thinks most people selling drugs are black. You keep defending the indefensible.

He didn't criticize Obama. He said Obama is a brilliant guy, won two terms, but beyond that the Democratic Party kept losing at the state and local level. Facts.

The fact that people online are getting triggered about it is more false outrage and another attempt to smear Sanders as some racist bigot on par with Trump.
shyts ridiculous, bruh

"He was obviously an extraordinary candidate, brilliant guy. But beyond that reality," Sen. Sanders says, Democrats have lost a record no. of legislative seats.

Cherry pick the commentary so it removes the objective truth that dude was getting at brehs...

Have Democrats lost 900 seats in state legislatures since Obama has been president?

That's a shot at OBAMA, no t sure how anyone could read it any other way. And Obama had 8 years of Republicans with the stated goal of making him a failure, even voting against bills they proposed just because he supported them. Add to that the Clintonistas hanging around taking shots at him at every opportunity because their golden girl didn't win; even though she would have been flipping burgers if he didn't save her career.

Obama is around #10 of all presidents in my book for what he accomplished with the environment he started out in and the snakes he had around him.

Trump is getting handed a booming economy and will get the credit for it continuing for a year. Bush handed Obama a disastrous 2 front war and the worse recession in history and Obama still gets blamed for it.

I look at Bernie Sanders the same way I look at Ron Paul and that's not favorably to say the least

It disgusts me the way that people make excuses for this man

Your contrarianism and concern trolling probably mirror your failed life.

That's just the fact of the matter not a shot. They did lose that amount of seats.
And him governing and the Dems losing elections are two different things. Bernie is saying because he was such a good candidate when running and a good president his presence covered up the problems of the party.

Bernie Sanders talks the same way a white supremacist would if anyone else said this they would be crucified and rightly so.
