Do people think Bernie is supposed to be some expert on racial issues? Him being sympathetic to it was good enough for a white presidential candidate. Our only other choices were either white supremacists or helped escalate mass incarceration. We could have moved Bernie into a spot for the better, the others would have ignored or just used us for votes. People were trying to say his supporters weren't pragmatic but they couldn't have been more wrong. We just wanted a candidate who could start from the best possible positions.
