True dat. Griffith fell apart when Guts announced that he was going to leave the Band of Hawks, he gets worse when he loses in his duel against Guts which results in him doing something very stupid (fukking the King's daughter) that gets him tortured for a year.

Then he sells out his entire crew to damnation in hell because Guts and Casca were together and planning to leave. While it's never confirmed this makes Griffith sound like a simping homo.

Let's not forget that Griffith prostituted himself for sometime to finance the Band of Hawks.

That whole scene is what put Guts over the top as one of the most gully characters of all time. This dude in hell throwing down against monsters/demons with everything he got as a regular human being as his friends running around like bytches and getting slaughtered (understandably ).

Like yall said though... that scene where dude is "taking" Casca while Guts is forced to watch is some rage inducing shyt. But when he took that dagger and hacked off his own arm and charged forward that dude was on some other shyt from that point on... Guts went straight up beast mode on them after that. In the comic/manga, it gets better but then starts to fall off to me...

Yeah its obvious that guy was on some shyt but the overall character is dam near a perfect villain. Its like throughout the series all the clues are given for his eventual heel turn but the audience is just blinded by the whole positive vibe of the Hawks moving up in the world. But when you look back on his actions... that dude was a sick mothafocka.

A lot of the Band of Hawks joined up because of his looks and charisma while the other recruits are peeps defeated by Griffith and joined up because they thought he was strong.
