96 was one of the weaker(if not the weakest) years of the Golden Era(87-96)...yeah we were DEF spoiled.

My bad ...I meant 87-96. 96 was a great year but it always felt empty to me. Great albums but not a lot of real defining Classics.

I agree. You can go from Mobb to Ghost to Keith Murray to Pac and obviously Nas and all those albums initially weren't what we wanted them to be off rip. shyt, Tribe & Jeru as well.

I'd say Jay, Red and the evolution of Outkast and the improvement made by The Roots were the small victories.

It's crazy you reacted like this but my claims always have merit. His 4 way tie are all east coast albums (which he has a right to do). But people pretend (i'm not saying HE'S done this) they had their eyes on the whole game when they really had tunnel vision. And ignorance is ok,nobody's perfect. But when nikkas pretend they knew the whole game and are not bias,then shyt just fake. The rest of his mentions consist of A wanna be east coast nikka exhibit,one southern artst and west side connection. And I wouldnt be surprsied if you never heard the shocker.
