Ironman - Initially seen as merely a plateau in the Rza's sonic wave of the first run. Aged well. I also think fans were sorta Rae & Ghosted out given that Cuban Linx had just happened.
It Was Written - The most polarizing, sellout move ever
Firing Squad - Adding Premier and not delivering a classic haunts this album
Hell On Earth - Simply not as good as The Infamous. Sounds completely different too. Aged Well.
Nocturnal - I was a Heltah Skeltah super stan and really enjoyed this album but over time, having minimal Beatminerz contributions has exposed the albums weaknesses.
Da Storm - I saw a friend Frisbee this album from a moving car. Seriously. I liked it well enough.
Wrath Of The Math - Jeru was a mess flow wise and Preemo's beats were hit or miss.
AEOM - Pac had finally made a legit great album the year before with MATW and then he went and dropped this big, puffed up grandiose party album.
Beats, Rhymes & Life - Everyone knows the knocks here.
Enigma - Not as good as the most beautifullest.
Stakes Is High - No real complaints other than Prince Paul's exclusion.
ATLiens - Arguably better than the debut.
Illadelph Halflife - Better than the debut but Roots gon' Root.
At The Speed Of Life - Xzibit always been kinda corny.
Wild Cowboys - This is the sleeper album of the year. Fantastic production.
Soul On Ice - I always liked the beats, many people didn't.
Makaveli - Only complaint is how annoying Pac stans are and this album being bolstered by death and strange circumstances.
Reasonable Doubt - I love this album.
Kim & Foxy - trash
Fugees - lol
Mad Skillz - Always been kinda lame. Some dope early Jay Dee beats.
Geto Boys Resurrection - I hate the production on this. Never understood the praise.
Bow Down - Absolute garbage album. That makes people from California upset.
Ridin' Dirty - People from NYC didn't know about this album until Jay Z told us to. I hear they consider it a classic down south.
Master P - be for real.
Smoothe Da Hustler - Album didn't match the single.
Muddy Waters - One of the more genuinely enjoyable releases of the year.
Doggfather - lol
Lost Boyz - fun album but the bootleg kinda killed the album for me.
Dr Dre presents The Aftermath - Borderline unlistenable. Shockingly bad. I was ready to put a fork in Dre. No homo.
