Anyone got a 50% off coupon for a strategy guide they aren't gonna use? The link I got for my coupon is dead and Best Buy's customer service is no help at all. It would be greatly appreciated.

This is not true at all, read the FAQ from BestBuy.com

http://www.bestbuy.com/site/Global-Promotions/null/pcmcat312400050004.c?id=pcmcat312400050004#gamers

"Can the 20% discount be combined with a competitor price match?
No, you would receive either the price match or the 20% discount, whichever is the lowest price. You would not be able to get both."
The website's FAQ says that but it really depends on how educated the person doing the override is or if they really don't care so ultimately it depends on which BB you go to and who the person is.

Target has the same policy where you can't price match and use the cartwheel discount, but I've done it plenty of times. Only people that might give you difficulty doing this are old managers.... run into somebody ringin ya stuff up who's doing the price match for you while you use the GC 20% off who's in their early 20s and I guarantee you get it :myman:

That's my whole point.. you're not suppose to do it but I've seen others get away with it....... it really depends on if the cashier is doing their job right but you are absolutely correct

How is this better than Gamestop Powerup Rewards? :beli:

:mjlol:

that powerup rewards is a fukin joke!!
with gcu you save cold cash with every purchase.
you need to buy a rack of games with powerup rewards just to get a $10 off coupon.
but if you like those pokemon lunch boxes and miniature figurines.... :yeshrug:

Its perfect if you buy a lot of used games and trade in a lot.

10% off all used games?

I rarely buy games brand new. Plus Best Buy's stock is straight booty crust :scusthov:

New games at $48 are cheaper than used games at Gamestop. Some of the major titles also come with $10 gift cards. Stuff like Batman Arkham Knight. It effectively will cost $38 and you can trade it back into Best Buy for what you paid for it depending on the promo they have going on maybe more back in credit than you paid for it.

If you buy more than 3 games in 2 years this is worth it. If you went out and bought this and The Order 1886 you get the discount on that first game. Since you would have paid $60 for it you instead pay $78 with is $18 more than you would have paid anyway. On the next game you buy you're saving $12 and after that you're in the profit area for the next 2 years where your savings is more than you paid for the membership.
Never go to Best Buy but 48 for new games is tempting. Does it work online too? How about faster shipping options for being a member like Amazon Prime? Also how do the points add up as far as equaling up to dollars?
Best Buy hasn't done an Amazon Prime type deal yet. I get free two day shipping from Best Buy but you have to spend $3500 in a year there to get than and maintain it. If you spend $1500 in a year you get free normal shipping.

If I didn't have free two day shipping I'd just go down the street and buy the game on release day using a credit card at Gamestop and then do the same from Best Buy's website and when the game comes in the mail return that unopened copy to Gamestop.

I bought this for $30 during the holidays, and it's already paid for itself, 2 months later. It's really a good deal.
