It's a shame his career ended up the way it did.

His guest appearances in the late 90's were GOAT. One of the most exciting and talented dudes in rap.

Then his albums were ass...especially that C True Hollywood Stories bullshyt.

Then he made that amazing Poet Laureate 2 track, his best song ever. Looked like he was coming back.

Then he made a dozen ehhhhh albums with bargain basement beats and his voice turned all grumbly and weird.

Then he whipped out a notepad and lost a rap battle to wack ass "Dizaster."

I want to root for the dude but he makes it hard.

At least we got some dope shyt here and there.

Canibus should have be able to at least match the career path of DMX. While X washed out he had a decent career before that happened. Canibus pretty much stumbled from the start and never really recovered.

Acoustic guitar sounds great.

That's why I scratch my head when people say the Wyclef guitar heavy Can - I - Bus album had trash production. It was somewhat underwhelming, but I personally enjoyed it, and actually think the 2nd album was almost overproduced.
