That's his opinion. Wada believes that it's the best game in the series in the same way that we believe other games in the series are the best. It's all interpretation.

You gotta find a place to download PlayStation Isos. Then you mount the ISO with either Daemon tools or Alcohol 120.
If you don't have the right BIOS none of that will work though..
There's a bunch of tutorials for using Espxe on thet net. A bunch of them are on youtube.

Saying a game is overrated just cuz it's popular is bullshyt. FF7 broke sales records, made RPGs on consoles relevant, was basically the Playstations "Halo" at the time, multiple spin-offs and movies, and has influenced almost every RPG after it. But somehow all of that only makes it overrated.

Where did anybody say the game was overrated because it's popular?
I said something being popular doesn't speak to it's quality. You're the one that was on that it's popular so it can't possibly be overrated bullshyt.
I said it was overrated because I felt it wasn't the best game in the series let alone the best RPG ever made. I also said I felt some people overrate it because for a lot of folks it was the first RPG they ever played (same way people overrate Halo because that was the first FPS they played).

It's not even about there being a correct opinion. Under what criteria is his opinion more valid than mine or anybody else's about the game? Because he made it?
If that's so, why do critics exist? Because there would be no need for them in a universe where the creator's word is codified as law.
