If you're going off of impact, DMC.

If you're going off of technical skills and ability, I would say Kool Moe Dee was the best, his flows were ahead of their time in the early-mid 80's.

:yeshrug: truth be told .... KRS win this hands down
his album drop the next year- but songs like

P is free
South Bronx
Bridge is over
literally dominated hip hop in '86

What you could have done under these rules is used that 86 singles run to vote for KRS and Criminal Minded in 1987. Idk if you did that or not.

There's no other choice except Run and DMC. Raising Hell was a monster album in 1986 and brought hip hop into the mainstream like never before. Plus, their lyricism was at an apex.

This song right here. :ohlawd: :ooh: :merchant:

I went with Run because I love his voice more and his delivery, but DMC killed it on "Hit It Run."

Voted Too Short :yeshrug:
Not crazy about Raising Hell outside of the singles. Don't have a preference as to Run or DMC :yeshrug:
