GZA was arguably the greatest lyricist ever in 1995.

Probably had a slight step on Illmatic era Nas.

Not slight step

massive step

like a Stone Cold Steve Austin stomping a mudhole in that ass kinda step

like Nas lost step

like Nas has less MVPs than Kanye step

Do you hate Nas or something? lol it kinda seems like you do.

I'm a Nas stan

:troll:

nah breh I don't hate him I just don't care much for him. I do listen to a lot of his music he has some GOATly material but he doesn't intrigue me as a rapper and I don't like how overrated he is in the sense he's elevated above artists equally deserving of his recognition if not more so. And I'm team HOV.

Reppin
Eastside of that Motor
What does any of that got to do with the quality of the music?
And dudes suck their teeth when I say Pac's legend is more about the narrative than the music.
:dahell:

Always gonna be subjective for a fav rapper, but MATW is my favorite album from 95. A young man literally telling you his life with all his troubles and enemies. It was 2Pac against the world and he made a classic album telling the world how he felt with all the shyt he was going through.

About many rappers do you prefer/think is better than Nas?

Personally I'd prefer around maybe 6 rappers over Nas so he's either 6, 7 or 8 on my GOAT list

Illmatic is still one of the greatest albums I've ever heard tho

he's just a little stale sometimes bro....and production doesn't help

Hmm I think I understand your problem:jbhmm:

When he's at his best he's at GOAT status and can rap just as well if not better than guys such as Ghost and Common

But he doesn't have as much albums you enjoy listening to front to back compared to guys such as Jay

but slow down on the bolded hah

pretty much...think is he's an awesome rapper but his production is the biggest crutch. sometimes he's boring but I can get past that so long as the beat is good.

Well if I mainly focus on his rapping skills then he'd easily make my top 5

But other things such as poor production choices move him down to top 10

Sorry breh I don't mean to ask a lot of questions, but how would you rate Nas' discography?:jbhmm:
