Yup that's how I cook all my steaks now when I first saw that video,, lol at people saying throw ya steak in the oven after the pan,, steaks should not be cooked in the oven at all
The WORST steaks to me, are those thin steaks. I dont even bother with them. They should only be used for beef jerkehs. A nice thick inch-inch and a half steak is where it's at.
Yall nikkaz got me hungry now![]()
I luh skirt steak.![]()
Skirt steak is different, when cooked right its delicious. I think the poster was referring to those cheap ass thin t-bones you get in hood grocery stores.
While the steak sits, heat up a cast iron skillet and get that bytch HOT AS fukkKKKK.....
Once 20 mins is up and the cast iron pan is properly heated (usually smoking at this pt)....put butter/olive oil in the pan and sear the steak for 1 minute on each side.....
DO NOT follow this advice. You will burn down your kitchen.. cast iron aint nothing to play with.. heat up the pan SLOWLY with the butter/oil in it already..
I see what ur sayin but if ur attentive and regulate it you'll be fine...dont leave the room while the pan is heating up and go watch tv, this is the final steps of the process...i usually put the oil or butter in right as it starts to heat up
I cant deal with this foreman grill drying my shyt out no more brehs:young:. I want my shyt to be as good as it do at a restaurant. Whats the best way to cook it to where it has a nice crisp coat to it without losing the tenderness?
