obviously not long enough. everyone knows you have to microwave it for 15 minutes in order for glass fusion to occur. not to mention this fool probably used yellow rice

As long as it's in a bowl of rice it doesn't matter if you put metal in microwave.

It works correctly depending on the wattage that the microwave puts out and the type of rice you use.

In case anyone stumbles in here looking for serious information...if your iPhone screen DOES crack, don't bother with the mom and pop stores if you plan on still using the phone regularly. They don't used official apple parts and a lot of times the phone will lose touch responsiveness or have other issues down the line. At that point, if you try to take it to the apple store they won't want to fix it. I seen it happen to a woman while I was at an apple store not too long ago. She came in saying her screen was messing up and needed a new one. They took the phone, came back 5 minutes later and told her they couldn't work on the phone because it didn't have an apple screen on it. Long story short, these mom and pops typically charge you 10 - 20 bucks less than what apple would. Don't be cheap and get it done right the first time.
And yes...if all else fails put it into a bowl of white rice and for the love of God do not put it into the microwave. Use the oven at 350 degrees for 20 minutes. These fools will have you frying all your internal parts with microwave radiation if you listen to them.
