For me it was diet. I increased my cardio and time strength training thinkinh I'd lose weight but i just got bigger, more muscle. Once i did calorie deficit in terms of nutritional food and upped protein my fat has been shedding quickly.

To lose fat you need to eat in a calorie deficit

in the gym you only need to progressively overload 6 exercise

over head press
Bench press
Squat
Deadlift
Row
Pull up
you don’t even need to bench press if you have dumbbells.

Don’t even need to hit the gym breh

It’s all diet nothing else.

A small bag or Cheetos is 180 calories

running a mile burns 140 calories

Not eating a bag of Cheetos is way easier than running a mile

Skip out on that can of soda during lunch..you just ran 2 miles

people really need to stop sleeping on Jump Ropes. Stairmaster, treadmills, eliptical are all mad boring. You lose your mind from monotony. Jump ropes are like dancing and styling plus you look like a ninja and engage your upper body as well. Add in the learning and mastery of new tricks and it's always a new challenge. Factor in the mobility of ropes and it's undefeated. I have a flight in 2 hours and i just snuck in a 22 minute session in my backyard.

I feel like everyone has different cardio preferences. I jump rope a lot and I will never ever be the person that just goes for runs or jogs

Running is addicting.

I used to love to run with my friends, especially long distance (when we didn't have bikes, before we drove). And in track I only did my events and never ran.

Within the last few years I started running, indoor track, outdoors, treadmill. Nothing less than 10k.

When your in shape that takes less than 1hr. I typically run it everyday. No my knees don't hurt,, my ankles don't hurt. I get aggy if I miss 2 days in a row.

I'll run before my workout or after.

Im a rope king. Still do it everyday. Minimum of 20mins. If I'm at work and it's tight and I don't think I'll get a run in I'll grab the rope and get it in real quick.

Pick something you like and that works your muscles.

And do it over and over, and over and over, and over and over again. Do it consistently for six months, a year, two years, five years.

That's it.

If all you care about is losing body fat then you should just run on the treadmill as long as possible, that will burn the most calories.

Now, if building/retaining muscle is a concern then it's a different story.
Exactly. Just get on the treadmill at 3-3.5 mph and walk for an hour. Boring but you will lose more weight doing that for a week straight than you ever will lifting weights.

You dont, if working out is a pain and not sustainable.

unless you are obese or overweight. You just do more than you were. A couple walks/jogs, sone weights, you will grow if eating and sleeping right. I know too many brehs doing THE workouts under an hr and look the same next year. Like dawg, this body is kitchen discipline and cardio mafr
