In what ways? They both have their strengths and are top calibre emcees. I enjoy 2pacs albums more though and go back and listen to his work more often than I do canibus. Canibus was technically a better emcee than 2pac but I feel 2pacs lyrics had a more raw and to the point feel. Using a larger vocabulary and fitting more syllables into a bar though does not necessarily make you a more talented rapper.
So basically u just said 2pac being able to make music that moves u makes him more talented right?

Being a better MC doesn't SOLELY mean you are a better artist, but it does normally give an advantage. Also there are several aspects, many of which Kanye lacks, lyrics, content, which are 2 very important qualities, flows which is obviously an important quality. There's many areas artistically where he is surpassed by many.
P.S Both Canibus and 2 Pac are better than Kanye. I will say I like Kanye overall better than Aseop Rock, and part of it IS artistically in terms of making music because Aseop is a better lyricist, but Aseop is quite an acquired taste and an abstract rapper. Is Aseop a better MC in terms of lyrics etc? Yes, but Kanye might be the better artist.
Saying that though, this is a classic song and just this song alone is better than many Kanye albums...

Now u say he lacks content? Compared to whom? Cuz Kanye's content ranges from women, to family, to religion, to, slavery, etc. So what exactly do you mean when u say he lacks "content" in his discography.

Kanye lacks lyrical ability. He has A LOT of wack lyrics, and corny lyrics...

It's littered throughout his music his wack lyrics and it hurts the quality and longevity of his songs/music. Because the aim is to get the right combination of lyrics/music to create great work, in most cases there is a balance that should be had, Kanye relied too heavily on production, at different times throughout his career, particularly something like Graduation where the beats were cool/good but he wasn't bringing it lyrically so it hurt the quality, listenability and timelessness of the album. Kanye lacks content compared to many rappers, what you want me to list them? And when I say content also add substance to that, if you compare Kanye's content to the likes of K-Rino, 2 Pac, KRS-One and MANY others he comes up SORELY lacking.

Quality, potency, depth, technique, really it's a long answer because his lyrics lack a lot. Even compared to a Jay Z, if you take Jay Z lyrics from Reasonable Doubt they will surpass every album Kanye has done on that basis. You can do this with NUMEROUS rappers projects, that's why he's lacking lyrical ability.

Based off the work they have put out yes. Have you heard Canibus recent work? He's doing things nobody else has ever or will ever do again. Canibus may have a lot of faults but he takes his pen game very seriously. Pac was crafting classics in 20 minute sessions between filming Hollywood movies and smashing A list celebrities. You need to come better than this. @StillNotSoft can probably swat this stupid comparison much more eloquently than I could though
