PG x MD
Chris.
More competition at pg than center.

I was going to say this is a damn close argument until I read this. The best big man in the game in any stretch has pretty much always won [Shaq, Duncan, Keem, Kareem, Russel, Wilt]. I think it's much harder to say Dwight belongs in that caliber of players than to exclude Chris Paul from the likes of the Jason Kidd, John Stockton, magic elk

Fair or not, the measuring stick most laypeople use when comparing athletes is championships.

Dwight took his team to the Finals in 2009. Granted, it was an extremely weak East outside of Boston (injured KG) and Cleveland, and that team was superbly built around him. But still, at least he got to the Finals. Has Chris Paul even made a Conference Finals appearance?

For full disclosure, I hate both players with a passion, and I think CP3 is the better player of the two. But Dwight has definitely had more career success than Chris.

It's easy to rack up on awards when the next best player at your position is avg 5 rebounds
That's true, but that's not what the question asked. Its not who faced tougher competition or who is the better player. Its who had the better career and right now its Dwight.

But at the same time your level of comp has to be taken into account as well. Dwight has more team success and hardware. Chris has had a tougher road to hoe in the west and more comp at PG. I'll go with Dwight purely because of the impact that a C can have versus a PG.
