KG got hurt at the end of March aka the 2nd to last month of the season.
They were favorites to repeat when he was healthy.
We can't just make things up to fit our argument breh.
Most teams aren't gonna be as good without a player of KG's caliber as they are with him. The C's still pushed them to 7 without him so it's not crazy to suggest that the C's win if KG is healthy. Records don't tell the whole story of how good a team is. There is no way the Magic make it out of the west that year.

KG was the Celtics best player and defensive anchor. People let PP winning finals MVP while averaging about 21 PPG or so on a shooting percentage in the lows 40 cloud their minds. If KG doesn't go down, the Celtics and Lakers go 7.

1. Mid-Feb is not early in the season.
2. He came back after that and wasn't done for the year until March.
3. KG was key piece to what the C's did. Just because there were other HOFers and the team wasn't overly dependent on him like Bron doesn't mean he wasn't important. He wasn't just some guy either. The presence of those other guys is the reason they took them to 7 minus KG. That's a big part of the reason a sensible person would reason that the C's likely win with a healthy KG. That and they beat the Magic the next year with KG coming off knee surgery.

ok...ok... he didnt get hurt early in da season... but my point is BOS still went on to win 12 of their last 14 games without him -was the hottest team going into da playoffs

What is ridiculous about suggesting that a team that lost a series in 7 would have won if you had added a great player to the squad?
what is ridiculous is using KG injury as an excuse -when BOS was the favorites to win that series in the first place
