What else do you call a conference where only 3 teams out of 15 matter?

Boston was without their best player. It woulda been Lakers vs Celtics again if KG was healthy.

Boston was missing KG and still took them to 7. They likely sweep them with KG...like they did the next season. The entire team played out of their minds agaisnt against Cleveland and there were a matchup nightmare. There is no way that team could even think of making it out of the west that year.

i understand BUT ur acting like BOS & CLE knocked each other off making ORL only having to play 1 of them to get to the finals

at the end of the day
3 of the top 4 teams records were in the east

KG got hurt at the end of March aka the 2nd to last month of the season. They were favorites to repeat when he was healthy. We can't just make things up to fit our argument breh.

Most teams aren't gonna be as good without a player of KG's caliber as they are with him. The C's still pushed them to 7 without him so it's not crazy to suggest that the C's win if KG is healthy. Records don't tell the whole story of how good a team is. There is no way the Magic make it out of the west that year.
