Neither one has a bad delivery/voice. nikkas will shyt on Sean’s voice but then turn around and praise Kendrick. Lol. Phony shyt. Wale’s only flaw is his attitude. Both under appreciated tho. If nikkas got a problem with Sean’s rhymes they might as well throw away Kanye’s Graduation album and get rid of damn near any Young Money/Drake/Nicki Minaj song from 2010-2012.
It doesn’t work like that. There’s plenty of writers throughout music history that can’t make their own music move people.

These aren’t those people tho. Being that they have successful music careers. They just aren’t superstars. Which is ok. Not EVERYONE is. Also. For everyone sayin Wale is a better rapper. He has a better rapping voice. But he’s not better lyrically than Sean.

Depends on your criteria. In terms of hits, Big Sean has higher charting songs without relying on features like Wale has. He’s also done bigger numbers first week but in terms of body of work Wale hands down. Big Sean has only 2 projects I & most people I’ve seen would consider great (Detroit & DSP). Wale has Ambition (one of the most underrated albums of the decade, I remember black Twitter loving this heavy when it dropped) Album & Mixtape About Nothing, Gifted & Eleven One Eleven Theory (one of the best tapes of the decade & his peak flow & voice wise). He was also arguably the standout rapper on the first 2 MMG albums (both of which are great). Can’t say the same about Big Sean on the GOOD music album.

Wale’s delivery has become corny so I can’t get into his new stuff but Sean has ALWAYS been corny. Wale’s constant whining has soured how he’s viewed but between 2010-12 he was seen as a peer to Cole, Drake & Kendrick.

big sean's had the better career and its not even close from a commerical standpoint. I believe his last 3 albums were #1 on billboard.

I think Wale had a higher high, and better projects, but Big Sean has been the most successful and consistent. Ultimately, they're on the same level, but the timing makes their careers different. If Wale's buzz begins 2 years later, he's still in the mix...just in a different lane.

Most of Big Sean's hits have features especially his bigger songs. It's been that way since the first album.
Haven’t checked but I’m sure his highest charting song is Bounce Back and that doesn’t have a feature. Plus Wale’s hits have been more due to the feature hook (Rihanna & Jeremih) more than anything

Like other have said as far as aging quality I probably favor Wale but careers on paper Its Sean and he has one less studio Album and thats with not knowing there contract or money flow situations from side deals

Sean
Finally Famous Plat,
Hall of Fame Gold,
Dark Skys 2x plat,
I Decided Plat

Wale
Ambition gold,
The gifted Gold

And its even worse when glanced at charted singles numbers

to reiterate big sean's success, his 5 albums went #3, #2, #1, #1, and #1 respectively.

then his two collaborative albums with Jhene and metro boomin went #5 and #6.

that's EXTREMELY successful.
Wale has song that went 2x platinum last year

the last time Big Sean had a song hit was 4 years ago

it’s more to a career than 1st week sales

also Sean’s album this year had like 65% drop in sales from the first week to 2nd and is damn near off the charts now and it’s barely been a month
