Yeah, I always wonder why media members completely forget about Tony Parker when they talk about Kyrie Irving being the greatest finisher of all-time and shyt (well, I don't wonder why, it's because these fakkits are all about the current moment and don't know shyt about the history of the game, even the recent years).

Goran Dragic gotta be up there as well.

TP at his best was never the player Kyrie currently is and ultimately will be. Parker was a talented player who fell into the perfect situation and organization. Kyrie was gonna be dynamite regardless. There's a reason everyone knew this nikka was gonna be the first pick since his days at St.Patrick.

This post has NOTHING to do with this thread....

Tony Parker was one of the best scorers in the paint over a decade as a damned guard

with no jumpshot
in a league where the gameplan wasn't to spread the floor as much as possible to keep bigs away from the paint

Parker didn't need to do all that dribbling... first step was sending you straight to hell :wow:

Don't let Rondo change the status of the bare minimum. TP couldn't shoot for shyt for YEARS. He didn't become anything around average for a starting PG until the last third of his career imo

If he was shooting Pop was looking ready to RKO his ass from the bench
:dwillhuh:

Say what now?

Parker was hitting 37% on total jumpers in 2002/2003
Parker was hitting 34% on total jumpers in 2003/2004
Parker was hitting 36% on total jumpers in 2004/2005
Parker was hitting 40% on total jumpers in 2005/2006

Parker was hitting 36% on midrange jumpers (308 attempts) in 2002/2003
Parker was hitting 36% on midrange jumpers (302 attempts) in 2003/2004
Parker was hitting 40% on midrange jumpers (345 attempts) in 2004/2005
Parker was hitting 41% on midrange jumpers in (417 attempts) 2005/2006 - on par with a prime Melo
