I hated JBLs initial run but its not because he was anything special as a heel.. I just hated the fact that he randomly got pushed down our throats and took the strap from eddie after being a midcarder his whole career...I admit later on I changed my opinion on him and now hes gold on commentary.

JBL's title reign was damn near a year of the most boring ass feuds and main events ever. His character was good, but he could've done that shyt OUT of the title picture. After the Eddie feud, the rest of that year can kick rocks. He was the champion during a weak-ass year for SD, and then proceeded to have boring-ass main events after he lost it and tried to get it back. Without a microphone, JBL's reign was pure trash.

I know "dis Punk at any cost" is the new trend around here, but really? JBL's reign?

JBL was fukking trash and deaded the entire brand. I never fukked with that show when JBL was on top. Never bought him at that main event level. U.S. champ at best.

So what you want about how either guy generated heat but at least Punk has good/decent matches. A JBL match was guaranteed .

Next there's gonna be a poll about how King Mabel had a better heel title run than Punk.

I hated JBL. Him taking the title from Eddie had me UNTIL he retired.

Punk is obviously better but as a heel character I guess JBL wins this poll. I mean Punk only fully turned heel during the last ~3months of his year long reign, the previous months he was a fighting face champion. (so it isn't a fair comparison at all)

Plus Punk didn't screw over Eddie.
