I think Iverson is the much better all around player, a once in a lifetime talent and much harder to guard and game plan for than curry. Curry is such a great shooter that it hides the other holes in his game.

He generates more turnovers, all of his plus/minus numbers are better than Allen's... his defensive ratings as well as his defensive win shares rate out better.

Defensive metrics are all kind of wonky, but they all back Curry over Allen. On top of that,

And actually, Curry's defense has improved over the last three seasons, and led to him rating out as a positive outcome defender last season.
I don't see nothing but a bunch of talk...where's the facts :mjlol:

I just told you the numbers... you can look them up if you want exact.

Here are ray allen's

Ray Allen

Here are steph curry's

Stephen Curry

You'll note that Curry has more steals, has a higher steal percentage in opponents' possessions, has better defensive win shares, has a better defensive rating on average AND is trending better than allen ever has...

If you watch basketball, you'd see how disruptive curry has become. He's not a lock down defender, by any means... but he now does a good job tracking his man, and has become much more adept at leaping into passing lanes AS WELL as ripping opponents dribbles, and sneaking in to rip from slashing/posting players.

Here's something you clearly haven't learned about me. If I tell you it's my opinion, it's my opinion. Everyone has them, and I've been wrong plenty.

If I'm telling you the numbers back it up, I don't do that without knowing the numbers. That's a little free-tip for all you JV posters. :blessed:

We talking about steals? Steals. not man to man. not basic team defense. Steals? Ray allen actually guarded the others teams best guard. he was guarding stackhouse, iverson, reggie, rip, vince, tracy. Meanwhile klay thompson is guarding the other teams best perimeter player. Not chef
