How do we know that? This is a hypothetical scenario :wtf:

Iverson was a GREAT player, but Curry is also a GREAT player who would've scored roughly the same amount of points on fewer shots, was a more willing passer and would've got his teammates more shots per game. Are you going to continue to ignore this?

offensively the sixers and warriors are about as the same as the sky and the ground.

Curry can't make mutombo a competent offensive player or make mckie, snow, or lynch capable of making open shots.

Curry is an alltime great shooter, AI is an alltime great player. Let's give curry some more reps before we compare him to iverson.

Iverson played in a half court offense in a defensive conference for a coach who valued defense and half court tempo. GS is the exact opposite with a better OFFENSIVE supporting cast in the wide open western conference

The playoffs weren't a part of the discussion.

That's why you Iverson fans are so delusional. You're being up the year Wade had a finals Performance of a lifetime and you're bringing up stats from Iverson that didn't lead to shyt

And 09 Wade >>> 06 Iverson

'06 was the first no hand check year and tons of guys (Iverson, LeBron, Kobe, Arenas, Allen, Dirk) had career years statistically but not a lot of people consider those years their peaks because in other years (if you were watching them) they were more complete players and had more successful postseason exploits.

I don't consider Iverson's peak to be '06 eye test wise.

That was comparing Iverson's and Wade's best regular seasons. I said multiple times their all time status is up for debate and that Wade's first finals performance was one of the all time great performances, I don't know if all you Wade dikkriders have selective vision or what, but I never once said in here that Iverson was better than Wade, just that it's debatable.

Iverson's numbers are better than Wade's besides rings obviously. Wade won with Shaq and Lebron. His first chip with Shaq, Wade was clearly the alpha and had one of the all time performances, but just having someone of Shaq's stature by your side changes your game, confidence, etc. in incalculable ways. Iverson never played with anyone even remotely comparable to Shaq or Bron, while also playing under someone like Pat Riley.

Not saying Iverson is better, but it's certainly up for debate in my opinion.

@Living Proof

My post from a few pages back. I may have been biased saying flat out that Iverson's numbers are better than Wade's, but I never once implied that Iverson was a better player, or had a better legacy. I just made the point that it's debatable, then all the Wade dikk riders went nuts on me putting words in my mouth and twisting my statements to turn it into an argument, when I never said Iverson had a better career/legacy.

curry needs teammates
iverson needs iverson

I grew up a huge Iverson fan, but Iverson needed teammates too. He did a lot with very little help, but he clearly needed more help to get over the hump and win it all, and Curry could've done similar things with the help Iverson had, and it's up for debate as to whether Iverson could've gotten it done with this year's Warriors. Not because of a lack of talent, just don't think Iverson would've been a great fit with this Warriors' squad.

I'm going with A.I. I like Curry tho, he's still young and has a lot of years to play and solidify his legacy.
