If ray allen wasn't better than iverson, how in the hell is steph curry? I swear some of yall just watch youtube videos of AI and not the actual games.

Steph Curry is a better, more versatile player than Ray Allen... who was a great shooter, an average distributor, and a sub par defender.

Iverson is the better player. He did more with less, was a more dominant player overall, and I'm sure he wouldn't get locked down for two games in the Finals by fukking Matthew Dellavedova.

Curry can't handle physical pressure.:camby:

"Heart" and bullshyt like "pound for pound" won't make AI better than Steph. Iverson was a trendsetter and the hood favorite but Steph is way better in virtually every aspect. Curry is a generational talent.
I fuk with bro game but :aicmon: foh with this shyt...prime rose better than Curry..and was the last player to come in the league who is a true generational talent even though Anthony Davis is on his way....

i dont know about that bro. Curry comes from a basketball family but i actually respect his grind. Didn't go to a big school, huge question marks coming into the draft and even when he got in the league, had ankle issues. Iverson came into the league with a bunch of hype. Curry had to make his own hype.
AI EARNED his hype at Georgetown.

Ultimately I think who you regard as your favorite player is a reflection of yourself.

If you relate to privileged, soft, safe, finesse people, then Curry is your guy.

If you relate to the underdog, to heart, to intensity, to drive, then Iverson is your guy.

Some of yall are just exposing yourselves :mjlol:

Bruh im iverson all day. but you can't call iverson a underdog. He got drafted before Kobe bryant. that should tell you all you need to know. Iverson def has heart and drive. But an underdog. Hell no.

More versatile? man the only thing steph had was better handles so he could shoot off the dribble. Ray allen with the bucks was a fukkin beast. Shoot from anywhere on the court. Drive, pass, shoot. Athletic, could dunk on you. He wasn't just some sg coming off screens and pick and rolls. Ray allen could take you off the dribble. and ray was nice on the defensive end. Please dont sleep on Jesus.

He's a 6 foot nothing 165 pound NBA PLAYER born to a 15 year old single mother in the streets of Hampton, Virginia.

Definition of an underdog.

If iverson could pass to someone like Klay Thompson do you honestly think he would shoot so much?

Iverson was a pure point guard. He shot so much because he had to.

so what happened on the Nuggets then breh? :comeon:

also, the only reason he even made it to a finals is because the bucks got cheated......but that's another thread.

steph curry commands just as much respect on offense as iverson. teams fear this dude. to me it's a no brainer to take him over iverson if I want to build a championship team. I feel like iverson could only win one with Shaq or Duncan. he can't play with another talented wing player because he needs the ball too much. steph can pick his spots and still drop 25 on %50+ from the field, while dropping 8 dimes like it's nothing.

I also believe if you put steph in a position where he had to be a scorer, like the 01 sixers, and he could do that.
