Steph does it throughout the season. These are games where the team is down at times 20+. Nikkas on the Coli were turning the game off, hitting the sack and coming back on like what the hell happened I thought it was over etc etc.

Act like that shyt isn't carrying a team or impressive and a lot of the shots hes creating his own shot which goes to show u he can hold his own if put with the 'bums' of those 76er teams y'all claim are so trash

He is a chucker though. We've known this for about 15 years now that he's a chucker. It isn't exactly a revelation.

Curry doesn't carry his team throughout the season. He's the best player on a team full of legit offensive threats. Let's see how he does being the only player a defense worries about for a season, let alone multiple years

Bolded: unless more with less means missing more shots then you don't have an argument. Both got an MVP award, yet curry held up the trophy Iverson didn't. His style of play didn't exactly help in a team sport when you have 4 other guys on the floor. Stagnating the offense and killing ball movement is a bad thing.

Ok who was the second scoring option on that Sixers team?

Who the the best scoring option iverson ever played with his entire career with the Sixers? Everyone was past their prime years. Those Sixers teams were trash and you know it. Iverson could score against anyone and any team. And for people saying all he did was chuck.. At the end of the day you still gotta put the basket on the hoop. You can't average 33 a game for a season or have multiple 30 ppg and not be great.

When did I say he wasn't great? He took too many bad shots and was never a reliable option from deep. He didn't do more with less either. When you have coach of the year, sixth man of the year, and defensive player of the year, you have a capable supporting team. They won the east with him shooting 34% from the field in the conference finals. I don't feel obligated to elaborate any further.

The fall off of the Warriors without Steph is not as bad as the fall off of those Sixer teams without AI

Don't flip shyt now. I didn't say you said Iverson had a better career or anything.

The only thing I argued was the fact that you said that Iverson's best seasons were better than Wade's best season and that it was no debate that Iverson had better numbers.

Wade scored slightly less points, on much higher efficiency, and was statistically better in all other major categories while playing far less minutes and making the playoffs.

Personally, I don't think it's debatable (Wade was, at worst, just as good as Iverson offensively while being bigger, stronger, more versatile due to post game, and a much better defender) but I wouldn't have jumped on this if you didn't compare seasons to seasons.

Iverson was a legendary player and possibly the most influential. Amazing player but his best seasons are nowhere near flat out better than Wade's.

I'm flipping my opinion because I realized after looking at the numbers that AI's best seasons aren't hands down better than Wade's (if they're better at all), and that it's definitely debatable. That's the point of a discussion/debate, you made some points that were true I took a look and it changed my opinion. I still say it's a very tough call on who the better player is over the course of their career.
