In your own words, how was his performance against the Bucks?

He shot the ball horribly.... but still had to be significantly accounted for by the bucks.......... which probably is the main reason outside of grimy defense that the 76ers were able to pull it out.....

Listen, I can give you horrible stats for Magic and Byrd for a playoff series in the proper context... but that snapshot shouldn't define their entire career

nikka said he had to be accounted for as if he was hitting shots or playing good defense :heh:

I was a huge AI fan back in 01 and I am still a fan to this day but fellas we gotta come to grips with reality. He didn't will or carry anybody anywhere. People gotta stop falling for the okey doke of a dynamic perimeter player + a top defense= by himself or carrying...especially when said perimeter player is inefficient as hell. You look at the most notable instances of a star perimeter player "carrying" a team and you will see a top defense right by his side (AI in 01, Bron in 07 and last year's Finals, James Harden last year). It's like people don't recognize "help" if it's not averaging 20 ppg. It's just like when people talk about a QB not having any help because he doesn't have WRs but he's got a dominant defense.

The consistency that Steph displays from deep is just ridiculous. He does so off the dribble while also facilitating. He's a monster and he's clutch and he's proven he can be depended on through a championship run. It's no slight against AI to say Steph is better.

Significantly accounted for in what context? He took 31 shots to scored 30 points. Whatever mystical AI-stan light the Bucks were transfixed by, it still doesn't outweigh the fact he was a net-negative in offensive production. Not only that, but he was getting cooked on defense too. I don't see how anyone could give any reasonable explanation as to why they think he had a good series. It was flat out bad. Defense/rebounding (all things AI had minimal say in) carried them to the Finals.

Yet it does for AI. He's a 40.1% shooter for his career in the postseason. :heh:

Again... no one talks about era, or context, when discussing A.I. so its an almost an impossibility to compare and contrast for real.... and yall love using shyt like A.I. stans, like Curry doesn't have over zealous stans.........

Fire away then.

In the same breath, no one can actually be used for folk that overlook the context of how that team was built to allow AI to chuck, and still remain competitive despite him being inefficient.

It's really not. There's not a great difference in era or context to the point where we can't provide a solid argument that Curry is the better player.

Talk to me when Curry stans are saying shyt like this -

The toughness on AI was ridiculous. Thia nikka would fet knocked down like 10 times a game and still be goin full speed. I remember watching a game against Milwaukee nikka got his tooth knocked clean out and still kept playin
