At his peak Bron was arguably the best perimeter defender in the league (ask Derrick Rose) and could also guard bigs. he made 5 1st team D teams same as Hakeem. Its fairly close. regardless Bron is a top 5 player of all time. Dream isnt

hakeem couldn't make up for the defense and play-making abilities lebron brings, guy has the best vision and passing we've seen since magic with lock down defense and ability to drop 40 whenever.

Hakeem's carry job with the 94 rockets was historic no question.

If hakeem all of sudden turns into a ball handler and averages 8 assists a game maybe there would be a debate.

Hakeem could never average 30ppg/11rpg/9apg/3steals/3blocks against a 73 win team. People are acting like the Cavs have great defenders .. Kyrie, Love, JR are below average defenders yet Lebron anchored s top 7 defense with them.

I think Lebron is a better all-time player than Hakeem, but Hakeem is amazing. He's easily in the top-10 all-time for me, possibly as high as 5th. I ain't ever saying there's something that he "couldn't" do.

Maybe he wouldn't have been 30-11-9-3-3 against the Warriors. Maybe it would have been 35-16-6-3-3.
