they are getting devious tho…a scammer contacted a relative of mine and asked for me by fukking name but the phone number was not associated with the agency they were claiming to be from and the person sounded foreign…another time a scammer contacted me and left a message…got thrown off cuz it wasn’t a generic message…they asked for me by name…but I knew it was fake cuz the number didn’t match up with who they claimed they represented and even tho they used my government name they didn’t really provide any other details…companies are selling our information tho—name, number(s), email, etc smh

You should have fukked with him. Flip the switch and have him waiting on a $4500 payday

This is what I do. I play so much with scammers that they stop calling me. One time I kept a scammer on the phone for 2 hours on a lazy Saturday afternoon just effing with him while I was laid back chillin watching TV. He was telling me I needed to wire some money to be able to get the million dollars that he was sending me.

I told him the closest western union was 30 min from me but that I was headed there to do it. Then I kept making excuses for being delayed.

He was getting exasperated like "you haven't made it there yet? :what:"

I was like nah, there's a lot of traffic out here today, i mean, it IS the weekend :troll:

on a basic level the police/courts/government do most of their shyt through the mail with like official letterheads. I remember on the news they said most of the time if somebody claims to be the police are calling you it's probably a scam and just call the courts yourself and ask and see what the court says.

You can't do that on all phones?

I don't know . I'm Droid gang. I had a couple Samsungs and they didn't do what Pixels can do.

I don't know if iPhones do that.

Below is a video. When the spammer/scammer calls , Google will give you the option to have the caller hear a message asking them to identify themselves, then the caller will have to talk and Google will put a live transcription of it on your phone. Most scammers just hang up.

Google also automatically blocks some known spam calls.

If your phone number ain't in my phonebook I ain't picking up. Anyone who knows me and is trying to reach me with a different number will text and let me know they tried to get a hold of me. If not then I assume it was a robocaller or a scam :unimpressed:

I got a similar one once. This motherfukker with a Indian accent said I owe the irs money and if I didn't pay up I'd be arrested lol.

I hung up and called the actual irs. It was bullshyt. But I'm sure some people fell for that
