the sheer amount of heavy lifting the media discourse is about to be around this and “the black woman struggle” and the acceptance of country music and what qualifies and who gets to participate all this shyt is is about to be unbearable
I actually rocs with Beyonce granted I like her old r&b records more. But ol girl works her ass off, stays out of trouble, and always delivers a great performance both vocally and physically. Yeah her stans are annoying af but you could say the same about any hardcore fanbase. The day that she retires is going to be sad one because she’s really the last relevant. Elite black female performer/singer we have I mean who’s filling in that lane once she’s gone.
