Beyoncé gets a lot of praise but isn’t she just as destructive and poisonous as the city girls and Meg the stallion?

Let me tell you something, and Im not even exaggerating. Whenever I see Beyonce these days, the Lost Boys theme pops in my head

Its no stretch when they say she is the "Queen Bey". She is what the head vampire was in that movie. Moonlights as a square and a Christian. Meanwhile encouraging the youth to be hellhounds with her incredible influence. So what do you mean is she as destructive?Shes public enemy #1:gucci:!!

This song did more damage to the black community than any city girls or meg the stallion song :unimpressed:

"A rude boy that's good to me, wit street credibility"

"If your status ain't hood
I ain't checkin' for him
Betta be street if he lookin' at me"

"I know some soldiers in here (Where they at, where they at)

They wanna take care of me (Where they at)
I know some soldiers in here (Where they at, where they at)

Wouldn't mind takin one for me (Where they at)"

"Next to the speakers keep a toy in the trunk of the 'lac

A reformed D boy use to run into traps
Still a soldier go to war if you running your trap
About my girls ain't no thing to put you under the map

Walk the streets five deep with nothing less than a stack"

:beli:

Had lil thirteen year old gurls bumping and singing this nonsense on the regular :unimpressed:

They literally asking for a tupac in a buisness suit in the lyrics :unimpressed:

This was the beginning of Babylon :unimpressed:

So because she’s made female empowerment songs in the past, she’s destructive? :jbhmm:
Please think properly before posting.
What she sings about doesn’t lead to the destructive mindset that many have? Is that empowering? —soldier (I need a thug), bills bills bills (give me your money), jumpin jumpin (leave your man and go hit the club)… I guess you’re right

You have got to be kidding. The fact that 20+ years later ya'll still refuse to listen to the verses of Bills, Bills, Bills is insane.

Now you've been maxing out my card (card)
Gave me bad credit, buyin' me gifts with my own ends
Haven't paid the first bill
But you're steady headin' to the mall
Goin' on shopping sprees
Perpetrating to your friends like you be ballin'
And then you use my cellphone (phone)
Callin' whoever that you think's at home
And then when the bill comes
All of a sudden you be acting dumb
Don't know where none of these calls come from
When your momma's number's here more than
once
:unimpressed:

Jumpin' Jumpin':
Ladies, leave your man at home
The club is full of ballers and their pockets full grown
And all you fellas, leave your girl with her friends
'Cause it's eleven thirty and the club is jumpin', jumpin'

:martin:

Soldier is probably the only one that didn't age as well but if it's that's the case Lil Kim, Adina Howard and others need to be in the conversation.

Also to add ppl highlighting 20 year old ass song and ignoring songs like this where she talks about being in a healthy relationship and an asset

DC singing about catering to a good man

Uplifting shyt that Black ppl clowned her for calling it Mufasa Jams

This is not even the dozens of songs she has singing about love and at points the love of her husband. The woman can't win. You got some women calling her a pick me because she's with her husband and sings about him and men on here calling her the scourge of womanhood.

It's so strange.
