As large, vocal (and rabid) as the Bey-Hive is, I've come to realize that there is an even bigger "silent majority" that does not like Beyonce. AT ALL. So I don't find this news surprising, because it's very easy to overestimate exactly how popular Beyonce, and what the return would be on any of her endeavors.

Just look at what happened this week at the Grammy's, with Harry Styles winning AOTY over Renaissance. One of the voter's (anonymous) reasoning for not voting for Beyonce was that she "wins too much." However, Beyonce's never won album of the year, and yet every time she loses it's always a controversy because her fan base tells us it's an "injustice". Beyonce's never even had the biggest selling album of the year for any of her albums.

The silent majority doesn't like her, and they all use the common, vague reasoning for why they don't. Just check reddit. :mjpls:

Came in to say this. Beyoncé just isn't a likeable person to most.

Btw if they just dump all that Ivy Park stuff in the outlets like Reebok did with the Cardi B stuff, it’ll move. I saw her shoes go from like 140 or whatever it was to 39.99. They’re going to move it somehow if they put it in outlets. I mean the few pairs of Ivy Park that I’ve seen was still like 200. That’s too much.

that's not really how outlets work...most brands are actually making specific lines for their outlets, it's not just overstock. and again, if adidas is the one that was playing around with its availability (taking it off its site early to send to outlets), that's on them.
True!
Outlets aren’t getting unsold as much anymore.

it wasn't the first release, it was 2021, the first drop was 2019
Based on the article it didn’t sell out. Idk what they are doing with unsold inventory

What other recent concert special she has?
The ones with JayZ ion hbo
Her last 2 tours grossed 250 mill plus each. The one she is gearing up for now is projected to do 300mill +. She just had to add dates
She’ll always sell out a show

Which goes against the idea that Beyonce gets more hate than support or is actively being "humbled" by the powers that be.
Nah the smoke is waning so the image in the mirrors are clearer.

Maybe it’s the Dallas cowboy effect. You root for the team to lose because the fans are insufferable. Lol

I think Beyoncé fans are majority black women and flamboyant gay dudes. And like someone said earlier many white people see her as a threat. Unlike lizzo who has chubby whites women, gays, even straight dudes who probably rock with her. And she’s a safer choice.
I loooove her voice and work aesthetic. Her songs, especially as of late has been meh, I don’t like her fashions ( I’m in the minority because I actually liked house of dereon, those jeans fit like a glove), and although I’m a Jay fan, I hate his direction and influence on her brand. But most of all, I don’t like anything that pertains to her because of her fan base. I would pass on anything affiliated with her just because of them. It’s waaaaY too cultish.

I'm referring specifically to Nike and Adidas Outlets. That's where those companies offload products that they are struggling to move. You also have to remember that resellers were buying a lot of that Ivy Park stock to resell at higher prices and a lot of them ended up returning those products when they couldn't move them, which why you eventually see Adidas eventually doing random restocks of certain products like they did with Yeezy's.

If you don't believe it, look a lot of Ivy Park inventory on resell websites and you'll see that it's being sold at a major loss, which is reflecting how much of a flop this line is.

Good fuvjbthe resellers
