Anytime someone can be exposed to the Torah and the gospels is an opportunity to save a life and potentially a soul also. I think all believers would agree with that goal! @Koichos @Sccit @LiIZaneFan1978
Kindly do not suggest that I (or Sccit, for that matter) support any part of that heap of garbage: Mattaʾi, Markus, Luqos, Yoonon, etc.

By the way, my copy of the 12th edition of Franz Delitzsch's 1877 translation of the Greek Drek bears a very interesting date imprint:

dXOalGq.jpg
Translated, the above reads לאנדאן בשנת תר״פ לפ״ק 'London, in the year [5]680, 1937', but there is a slight problem: the Jewish year 5680 began on September 25, 1919 and ended on September 12, 1920; the year 1937 began in the winter of the Jewish year 5697 and ended in the winter of the Jewish year 5698! How much trust can be placed in a book that cannot even manage to get the date of printing right?

Jesus
1 Corinthians 15:1-4 KJV
Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; [2] By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. [3] For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; [4] And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:

Isaiah 63
"8 For he said, Surely they are my people, children that will not lie: so he was their Saviour. 9 In all their affliction he was afflicted, and the angel of his presence saved them: in his love and in his pity he redeemed them; and he bare them, and carried them all the days of old."

Ok I have a question: what do you think about men that try to twist the Bible to pretend that polygamy is permissible? It happens so frequently lol and it’s annoying.

Above the fray.
There's actually another one but that has too many pages.

I create this thread for all bible believers who would like to discuss the bible and related topics.
Is this a real or troll thread? You posted a thread about Gail Trait recently where you claimed to not be a Christian.

. I'm not a christian
Yet you declare yourself to be a believer here.

I would love to have a calendar discussion, just wanted to get your stance clear here.

Are you saying that the Sabbath and the feast days are impossible to find, so we should not keep them?

Nope. I said you can’t accurately determine what “today” actually is when they’ve changed the times (TWICE), don’t have the same number of days in a year as the Hebrews did, they don’t start the year at the same time the Hebrews did, and they don’t measure days in the same way the Hebrews did. The Most High gave us a calendar to go by and that never changed even when He sent people to change the times for everyone else. Centuries at least of following the wrong calendar and you think that you’re following the Most High by simply translating what day the people who changed the times say it is into the Hebrew. And then try to use that to shame others. But in all actuality that ain’t how it really works.. And even with that said I’d never shame someone who as at least trying to follow the laws. But that’s what he did

And he did it because both you and he can’t defend your faith in that Jesus character. Deuteronomy 13 says that the Most High would send a false prophet that made signs and wonders that came to pass. But He said you should hold fast to His laws and commandments. So if you can’t prove your beliefs with the laws and commandments what does that say about your faith?

An increase in knowledge and travel is a sign of the last days

Look at now even 20 years ago you'd think it would be insane to have the internet at fast speeds and be able to do everything with a smartphone. You can learn everything on the internet

travel? I was in 6 countries in three different continents in 7 days. Even 150 years ago this would be considered sorcery and i'd be put on a pike

it hasn't even been a hundred years since the first atlanic flight

It is a verifiable biblical practice. In times of war, men are more scarce than women and it makes sense to repopulate a nation.

In times of peace, a wealthy man can afford to have a very large family. The western view of family is very different from the eastern.

In modern times, women are less likely to submit to a household with multiple persons of affection, thus it is unadvisable today.

In a mature culture, it is ideal and in many cases a necessary function of nation building.
