i don't know why you just keep repeating yourself as if that makes your objectively false conclusion true.

he needs congressional approval for a strike. Ansar Allah did NOT attack US service people. The containers being shipped sent out distress calls for the US service people in the Red Sea -- which people have been questioning WHY the US is there in the first place. International waters aren't policed by one country, especially if the jurisdiction is for a sovereign nation. Which is why the US won't dare attack China in the South China sea or aid the Philippines in scuffles there.

again, to sanction air strikes, the sitting president needs congressional approval; it's in Article 1, Section 8 of the constitution:

  • Constitution: Article I, Section 8 of the Constitution grants Congress the sole power to declare war. While air strikes might not constitute a full-blown war, this argument suggests they still fall under the umbrella of "war-like actions" requiring Congressional authorization.

both republicans AND democrats are pissed off because they know he needs approval before doing this and the consequences of his actions.

Again, no rational person can justify bombing Yemen because they attacked COMMERCIAL ships with ZERO deaths. But NOT sanctioning Israel for ethnic cleansing and genocide; of which there are over 20,000 deaths and nearly half being children.

Both problems can be solved now without violence. Biden is choosing to go to war with the middle east instead of stopping it from happening.

Good. They have no right to block the flow of goods in international waters.

Anything less than this would have shown weakness. Next time the US military should bring the whole kitchen sink if the houthies insist on hijacking ships.
Maybe if The West grows a pair and tells Nentanyahu to cool that shyt off that he's doing, then maybe the Houthis wouldn't hijack these ships that were headed to Israel.:jbhmm::stopitslime:
