Biden was talking all that hot shyt about how the Trump tax cuts were bad but he agreed to let them stay in place for support for his infrastructure bill. Biden has been reneging on a lot of shyt...good thing I didnt vote for him.

Biden offers to keep 2017 Trump tax cuts intact in infrastructure counteroffer to GOP

Not shocked sadly.

Biden is a centrist anyway. Always been a centrist.

He'll 40 years ago he would've been more in line with the gop.

Please refute what I said if you disagree.

I can't say and really none of can in that sense, but what makes you think Republicans are necessarily going to gain back all the ground they lost over the past couple of years in the midterms?
They have their Culture War Boogeyman in Critical Race Theory that I figure they'll lean heavily into, Trump still gets his cultists excited, and there's been the state level voting restrictions passed while the Dems are going to have the Infrastructure bill(s) and the stimulus on their side. I personally see alot more excitement for the Rs to get out in what probably will be low turnout elections

I don't disagree, the Democrats are going to have to continue to mobilize voters because this has always been a strength of conservatives. I also think that Democratic Party is slowly bleeding when it comes to Black men under 40 that can't be ignored either since that could be the difference especially in Southern states.

While I see the overall good for the country in investing in infrastructure I really wonder what tangible benefits from this will people see within the next 12 months to convince them to come out in the midterms?? :patrice:
Yep, this is probably something that needed to happen. But what happened to all of those campaign promises. I hope they are not going to try to dust those bad boys off for the 2022 midterm.

:comeon: yes, because its only "printing money" when its something that helps the people.

Its not like this investment will create a multitude of jobs and inject a ton into the economy...
can;t just print all this money with no consequences. we are already trillions in debt and we will be in debt forever. not like this money is even backed by anything anymore.

I need to see more, or hear more on this bill. :yeshrug:

Again, what does this really mean? How do you really hold ppl to task, for this money? I live where I live...you live where you live. How do we REALLY keep track, or quantify, what was spent on what, or where this money is going? Are all the streets, highways, buildings, and bridges in disarray, gonna be fixed/remedied overnight? I DOUBT IT. :mjlol:

This type of shyt is the same old song. In another 10-15 years, some study comes out talking about, billions of dollars from this bill, are unaccounted for, or were misappropriated. Bank on it. :mjpls:

Unless folks are actually touching the money (ex. stimulus checks), I don't believe this shyt, nor trust these high-ranking cacs. The fix is already in. Like someone already pointed out, unsurprisingly, a bunch of politicians are already dropping bands, on stocks, and industry, related to infrastructure. They're already well- off, money-wise, plus they're privy to insider info, common folks aren't privy to. How is it fair, they're even allowed to invest in these stocks? :mjpls:

Watch all these contracts go out to cacs, their relatives, friends, etc. Yea minorities will be entitled to a piece of the pie, but when cacs are controlling the game/rules, how much of that money, do you think black businesses/contractors, or black communities, really see? I'll wait, to see how this plays out, before I give praise. :mjpls:

To the poster that wrote the list (of how easy it'd be to start a business, etc. to go after some of that money, GTFOH. :mjlol:

After all the fukkery and scamming, from the pandemic money? :russ: Like cacs will allow black folks, to suddenly open up shop, or pop up with businesses overnight, in order to get access to that infrastructure loot. I guess anything is worth a try, but unless you're already established, good luck with that, and that vetting process. :mjlol:@ trying to make that shyt sound so easy.
