Before the USSR fell, they became a gerontocracy as well. It's a bad sign for the health of a country when it's politicians are people whose minds are failing right in front of them.
As bad as kamala Harris would be, she'd at least know how to use the internet and know what day, month and year we are in.

All these arguments on Biden are legitimate.
Unfortunately we don't get points for ideals. We have to do the best we can with what we have.
And the reality is that unless the political machine gets behind a Gavin Newsome or someone else who can muster broad popular support, people are doing a disservice by acting like both of these geriatrics are equally bad.
